Is it bad that I'm nearly 22 and Full Collapse STILL impresses me as a piece of music?

I have been cast in one of the Independent Drama Society's (nonprofit org. theater group started by college friends in 2008) summer shows! I am
(don't laugh)
Romeo! In Romeo & Juliet!
It's gonna be great. Eight person cast, Factory Theatre (small venue in a factory on Tremont street), attendant awesomeness.

Please tell me what's sometime quoted up there ("Violence, violence!") is a reference to Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
EDIT: ALSO, I love the way this man's mind works.

New Rammstein and Do Make Say Think albums today. Both are great.

I got cast in a play, perhaps the last one I will do that is a "school production." Can you guess who I am?
Anthony Hopkins did it once.
Hark, wretches, how I mean to martyr you.
This one hand yet is left to cut your throats
Whiles that Lavinia 'tween her stumps doth hold
The basin that receives your guilty blood.
Hint: I kill like five people and cut off my own hand.

I think that it is only fair to warn you all (read: magic players) that my EDH deck is shaping up to be a monster. Also, my friend Phil and I have decided to start playing Standard, except I have sort of resigned myself to always being a middle of the road player because I refuse to pay more than a few dollars for a single card, which puts many rares right out, not to mention Lotus Cobra (at 28 right now) and Baneslayer Angel (still at like 33).

Probably the only truly demented webcomic I read is VG Cats. Brogamers

I hereby decree that you, James, Michael, and Will Camarata, as well as anyone you are in contact with in the Nashville area, have ready for play in December a Magic the Gathering deck that conforms to the Elder Dragon Highlander format. It is crazy fun.
Also, I played at the Zendikar prerelease and got second place in the booster draft. Go me.

Here is a wonderful example of how aleatoric music can be made and the pleasing oddness that results. I particularly like this kind, where a visual pattern induced by consistent chance or biological forces is transposed into an unrelated medium. The aleatoric process informs much of what The Books, a simply amazing music group, records.

CHAPTER EINS
1. Two classes took up only half of my time each week, rather than every waking moment.
2. I wasn't expected to start studying for a test more than a year in advance.
3. A very serious Chinese man didn't tell me once a day, "You need to work very hard." (The way he says "very" is almost Cardassian. THERE ARE FIVE LIGHTS ALREADY!)
4. I had no vocabulary tests written in a 3000 year old script.
5. All my lectures were in English.
The trade off is, of course, that I'm experiencing academic rigor for the first time in my life, so I guess it works out.

It's dim, a dim June. In fact, this is the darkest June Boston has seen in 106 years or so; there's been four days blessed with any genuine sunlight. In fact, I still feel as if it's winter here. I don't think we've had a full week of heat since September. There's not much sun in the 10-day forecast either. It's a storybook kind of darkness.

Went to see Shepard Fairey at the ICA yesterday. Good stuff. Michael, was it you telling me you didn't like him?

For an example of what excellent television looks like, especially in regards to acting and cinematography, look no further than the most recent season of House, especially the last nine or so episodes of it. Seriously, go and watch it.
